Chelsi Peter joined the Center in 2022. She is currently a junior at the University of Missouri. She is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Sports Journalism. She is a member of the University of Missouri's chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists and currently serve as the Social Media chair for the organization Mizzou Black Women's Initiative. With a little over five years of experience in news and opinion writing, she is interested in expanding her journalistic passions for more than one media outlet
