I’m a Cedar Rapids Gazette investigative reporter, and I’ve wanted to be in the newspaper since elementary school, when I attempted to fry an egg on the sidewalk and called the hometown paper to cover the event. I think being a news reporter is the best job because I get to talk with fascinating people, ask them all sorts of questions and then share the information with readers. Being an investigative reporter just means digging deeper and asking even more questions.
